Privacy policy
This page is short because we store very little. There is no account system, no subscriber database and no profile of you. We do not sell your data, and there is nothing we could sell that would be worth anything.
Last updated July 27, 2026.
The short version
We store your Discord user ID, and which tickers we sent you, for 45 days. Your email and your payment details are held by our payment processor, not by us, and we never see your card. We use privacy-friendly website analytics with no cookies and no cross-site tracking. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with advertisers. Email us and we will delete what we hold.
The rest of this page is the same thing said carefully.
1. What we collect
From Discord
- Your Discord user ID, which is the numeric identifier Discord assigns you, and in some records your Discord username. This is how the nightly job knows which private channel to post in, and what access level you hold.
- Which tickers we sent you, and on what date. We keep this so the model does not send you the same name repeatedly. It is a list of symbols and dates against your Discord ID, and nothing more.
- How many lookups you have used today. A counter, so that daily limits can be enforced. It holds a count and a date, not the tickers you looked up.
Note what is not in that list: your name, your address, your brokerage, your positions, your account size, or anything at all about your finances. We do not ask for them and we could not act on them if you told us.
From payment
Purchases are handled by our payment processor, which collects your email address, your billing details and your card information directly. We never receive or store your card number. From them we receive your email address and confirmation of what you bought and whether it is active, which is what lets us grant and remove access.
From this website
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics that records aggregate page views, referrers and rough country-level location. It does not set cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. This is why there is no cookie banner on this site: there are no cookies to consent to.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period for security and abuse prevention. That is ordinary infrastructure logging and we do not use it to identify individuals.
2. Why we collect it
- To deliver the product. Picks cannot reach you without an identifier.
- To make the product work as described. Repeat avoidance and daily limits both need a small amount of history.
- To take payment and to grant, maintain and remove access.
- To support you when you email us with a problem.
- To see whether the website works, in aggregate.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile you, and we make no automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. The scoring model scores stocks. It does not score people.
3. Where it is stored
Delivery history is stored as a plain file in a private source repository, so that each night's allocation is auditable when a member asks why they received a given ticker. It is not public. Lookup counters are stored with our hosting provider. Both are self-pruning, so old records are removed automatically rather than accumulating.
4. How long we keep it
- Delivery history: 45 days, then removed automatically.
- Lookup counters: 14 days, then removed automatically.
- Access records: for as long as your subscription is active. When you cancel, your access is removed.
- Billing records: held by our payment processor for as long as they are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes.
- Support email: kept while the issue is open, and for a reasonable period after.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We never have and we do not intend to. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or anyone else for their own purposes.
We do rely on service providers to run the product, and data necessarily passes through them:
- Discord, which delivers every message and is where your ID comes from.
- Our payment processor, which handles checkout, billing and access.
- Our hosting provider, which serves this website and stores lookup counters.
- Our analytics provider, which receives aggregate, non-identifying page data.
Our market data providers receive ticker symbols only. They are never sent anything about you, because the scan is identical regardless of who is subscribed.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud or protect our rights or someone's safety. If we are ever compelled to hand over data about you, we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
6. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email optionsindicatorindex@gmail.com and we will action it within 30 days. We will not charge you and we will not make your experience worse for asking.
Deletion has one practical consequence worth stating plainly: your delivery history is what stops the model repeating tickers at you. Delete it while you are still subscribed and you may see a name sooner than you otherwise would. Nothing else about your access changes.
Depending on where you live you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, or to complain to a data protection authority. Ask and we will help.
7. Security
Access to member data is limited to the two people who operate O.I.I. Payment credentials never touch our systems. Our repositories are private and our secrets are not committed to them.
We are a small operation and we are not going to claim a security posture we do not have. No system is perfectly secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you promptly and tell you what actually happened.
8. Children
O.I.I is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
9. International users
We operate in the United States and our service providers are largely US-based, so if you use O.I.I from elsewhere your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy law may differ from your own.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the Discord server before it takes effect.
11. Contact
Any question about this policy, or a request to see or delete your data, goes to optionsindicatorindex@gmail.com. We reply within two business days.
Related: our terms of service govern your use of O.I.I, and our refunds and cancellation page covers how to leave.
